Gift of November

Wow, it’s been cold here in the Pacific Northwest lately!  But that’s okay.  The leaves have turned their colors to amber, scarlet and gold to reflect the Fall season now in full swing.

This is also a season to stop and take a moment to reflect on all of the blessings of our lives and be humbly grateful for them.  There’s a line in the newly released SIREN’S CALL (Book 2 – Daughters of the Alpha) that I always remembered from childhood:  “I cried because I had no shoes—until I saw the man who had no feet.”

I stop and think about all of the true priorities in my life—my family and friends—and I can’t help but be grateful.  Love, after all, is all around us, and that is the greatest gift of all.

We just have to reach out and accept it.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Addison Carmichael
